Star Trek – Strange New Worlds – Cinemagraphs

These cinemagraphs were used to countdown the launch of a new season for Strange New Worlds. I worked on the original concepts, which tied into an overall circular theme for our campaign. As we had limited time with talent, we decided to shoot stills instead of video.

I directed the photo shoot, where we captured a rapid fire set of stills with someone off camera moving the light around the talent to reinforce the circular movement and add a time-lapse effect. Individual images were cut out and composited with star trails created with X-Particles.
